your disability

Whatever your disability, learning difference or medical condition, we can help. Some students aren’t even aware they have a disability until they arrive at university, which can make it difficult to adjust to uni life and work. We're here to support you and your disability during your time here, making sure you get all the help (and financial support) that you're entitled to.

If you experience learning difficulties such as Dyslexia or Dyspraxia, you may be able to receive specialist one to one support. Helping you to develop your own independent learning with strategies to suit your learning style.

If you find that things are getting in the way of you and your work that you can't control, you might find an individual learning plan useful. Our disability team can help you create a learning plan specifically for you to help you achieve. It could involve anything from additional tutors to use of specialist equipment.

At our assessment centre, the team can provide Study Needs Assessments for students who are eligible for the Disabled Students Allowance to help during your time at Glyndwr.

Here's a step-by-step guide to the DSA application process.
