LIBRARY & INFORMATION MANAGEMENT TOP UP
Why choose this course?
The course is designed as a top-up level from our foundation degree in Library and Information Management.
You'll learn high-level skills in the organisation, management and retrieval of information using current and developing technologies. The course has a strong practical component in modern librarianship and equips you with a variety of professionally relevant skills.
The degree is designed to underpin work based learning, and will reflect recent changes in the profession and the new, proposed 'Body of Professional Knowledge' being introduced by CILIP. You will be provided with a professional development plan diary as a first step towards becoming chartered.
Why not come to one of our weekly informal drop-in information sessions? Staff from the Department will be available in The Study between 4.00pm and 6.00pm to discuss this programme. Please register your interest here or drop in on the day.
