Why choose this course?

Housing plays a significant role in developing and maintaining communities. This course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to work in a variety of housing areas including housing management, supported housing, housing advice, lettings (social and private sector), empty property management, private sector enforcement, tenant/resident involvement, housing development and strategy, homelessness, repairs and maintenance and performance/business management.

The course has been developed to reflect the requirements of the Chartered Institute of Housing's expectations for Chartered Membership.

Work-based learning is an important part of the course and enables you to utilise your learning in a real setting and develop your options for your preferred career.

Why not come to one of our weekly informal drop-in information sessions? Staff from the Department will be available on Wednesdays in The Study between 4.00pm and 6.00pm to discuss this programme. Please register your interest here or drop in on the day.
