Get straight into uni life

Why wait to get stuck into university life? A foundation year means that you can get involved at university right away, gain more independence and meet a diverse range of people from different backgrounds and cultures.

Integrated with our 3-year degrees

Successful completion of a foundation year means that you progress straight on to the relevant 3-year degree. So there's no need to re-apply to continue your studies. If you find after your foundation year, that you'd prefer to specialise in a different area - there's no pressure to continue - you can switch to another named degree within that discipline.

Develop key skills

Every foundation year includes core modules that help you to develop key academic, personal and professional skills to ensure your success at university.

Get up-to-speed

If you've been out of education for a while, or don't have the necessary qualifications for entry on to a 3-year degree, a foundation year will enable you to build on your skills, adapt to university level study and gain confidence in the classroom.

Study subject-specific modules from day one

Foundation years at Wrexham Glyndwr include subject-specific modules taught by experts in the field from day one. So there's no delay in building your future career!
