Not got a place to start university in September yet? Waiting on exams results and concerned that you’re not going to quite get what you need? Confident you’ve aced your school/college exams and now reconsidering your options for September? You’re not alone!
Every year, thousands of students in your situation gain a place through Clearing. It’s not just a solution for people who have not done as well as expected in their exams and it really doesn’t have to be a last minute scramble for places.
At Wrexham Glyndŵr University we believe that the Clearing period really is an opportunity for you to find the course that’s right for you quickly and painlessly and we’re here to help you through every step of the process.
What is ‘Clearing’?
Clearing is the period of time from July to October where places are finalised for 2017 entry into university. Applicants already in the UCAS system will choose their Clearing choice through UCAS, and those who haven’t yet applied can either complete the UCAS application or apply to us via our direct application form.
You can go through clearing if you:
- Haven’t done quite as well as expected and therefore have been unable to secure their first or second choice of degree course.
- Have met or exceeded the conditions of their original offer and now wish to be considered for a degree course at Wrexham Glyndŵr University (this is known as Adjustment).
- Haven’t applied yet but want to start university in September 2017 entry.
