Our course has been designed to cover areas of national and international interest and debate relating to animal behaviour, ethics and welfare - studying the topics of zoological science, animal husbandry, animal learning and training, and survey skills for conservation.
Work placements are a key part of the course and help you develop practical skills and give you the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills you have gained. Using the facilities based at our Northop Campus and undertaking visits to zoos, animal rescues, and conservation organisations also helps you gain those all-important practical skills from handling skills and husbandry practices through to training and behaviour techniques.
