The distance from home, the creative industries department and its staff.

Relaxed, open and inviting.
What do you enjoy most about your course?
The mix of student backgrounds, time spent with lecturers from both industry and academia, 24/7 flexible studio access, and chance to help with TV studio events!
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
Enter the creative industries, working live or studio sound.
What has the support been like?
Staff are hugely supportive, keeping track of students week to week and signposting various university services.
How do you think you have benefited from studying at Wrexham Glyndwr University?
It has helped me grow in confidence and given new direction to my studies.
If you were to sum up your experience at Wrexham Glyndwr University in one word what would it be and why?
Different! The university has a much more inviting atmosphere than red bricks, so you’re entering lectures with more to bring, rather than being treated like school children. I feel comfortable wandering the campus until I find what I’m after too, since it’s all on site.
