Julia came to Wrexham Glyndwr after a career in care, she's now studying BSc Hons Health and Wellbeing.

What were you doing before coming to Wrexham Glyndwr University?

I was a Registered Care Home Manager.

What attracted you to Wrexham Glyndwr University?

My son attended a degree course here and said it was great.

What’s the atmosphere like around campus?

It’s friendly & vibrant.

What do you enjoy most about your course?

I’ve enjoyed the whole course – I can’t pin point one thing.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I’m going to be carrying on with a PGCE here at Glyndwr so I can teach health and social care.

What has the support been like?

It’s been brilliant from peers, tutors and study skills.

How do you think you have benefited from studying at Wrexham Glyndwr University?

I now have my degree which was tough but an achievement.
