What were you doing before coming to Wrexham Glyndwr University?
I was in the army for five years then I was a brick layer's labourer.
What attracted you to Wrexham Glyndwr University?
What attracted me was the opportunity to study a course that I was interested in.
What’s the atmosphere like around campus?
The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can be yourself with worrying what other people think.
What do you enjoy most about your course?
The lecturers are really friendly and so is everyone else on the course. It is also a great opportunity to work in the sport I love.
What do you hope to do when you graduate?
I hope to be a football coach, a performance analyst and to also have my own business providing strength and conditioning support to football and rugby players.
What has the support been like?
It’s been great, lecturers are never to busy to help.
How do you think you have benefited from studying at Wrexham Glyndwr University?
I used to think I wasn’t smart enough to study at university but that isn’t true. I have progressed academically, learnt a lot about myself and met some great friends.
If you were to sum up your experience at Wrexham Glyndwr University in one word what
would it be and why?
My one word would be different. Different, because this is something completely new to me and I love it.
