Thomas Llywarch completed his Bachelor of Science with Honours in Multimedia Computing at the University of Wales, Wrexham in 2000 and his Post Graduate Certificate in Post Compulsory Education in 2007 and Master of Arts in Computer Generated Imagery in 2011 at Wrexham Glyndŵr University.

Before joining Wrexham Glyndŵr University in 2015 as a lecturer in Broadcast, Journalism, Media and Communications Thomas run his own new media agency and taught Creative Media Production at Shrewsbury College of Arts & Technology.

Within the Broadcast, Journalism, Media and Communications department Thomas has responsibility for delivering communication theory and supporting students with the production of film, photography, audio and graphic content.

In 2016 Thomas also took on the role of Learning Technologist for the Childhood Studies department at Glyndŵr University and is working with colleagues to develop interactive online video learning environments as part of his PHD research.  He is also part of the Wrexham Glyndŵr University Technology Enhanced Learning team.

Outside of Wrexham Glyndŵr University when Thomas is not writing, producing and directing his own short films you will find him moonlighting as a professional musician or indulging in his passion for outdoor sports including white water kayaking, windsurfing and climbing.
