Steve is the Principal Lecturer for Postgraduate Art and Design at Glyndwr University’s North Wales School of Art and Design.
He studied Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art and Design in London and was tutored by Eduardo Paolozzi, Alison Britton, Martin Smith and Keith Cummings.
His work is figurative in nature and ranges in scale from life-sized works to smaller domestic pieces for the home. His work is held in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Royal College of Art, amongst other public and private collections.
In recent years, Steve has extended his interests to art photography in addition to the objects he creates, mainly by commission.
Steve has a workshop and studio on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park, where he has been based since 1999. He currently leads the taught Masters' degrees in Art and Design.
