I have worked in the field of mental health and wellbeing and community health development for over fifteen years, across a range of NHS and third sector organisations. I have a special interest in arts for health, and outside of Wrexham Glyndwr University run a not for profit arts for wellbeing organisation, as well as being a National Advisor for Arts Council Wales. I have also taught in Further Education, and other community settings, specialising in arts and mental health.

I have studied at the University of Newcastle, Liverpool John Moores University and Chester University, and am also currently studying here at Wrexham Glyndwr University.

I love to paint whenever I am able and to go for long walks in the hills with my two enthusiastic spaniels.
