Following his time-served apprenticeship Paul worked at various companies including British Aerospace as a Miller, Borer, Driller, C.N.C. Setter/Operator/Programmer.

On secondment, he also worked with UK Skills in helping the UK team with their 2011 London event and also helping countries around the world (particularly China) who had entered the event for the first time.

Team Manager for CNC Turning including working with the competitor from Rolls Royce.

Paul gained his PGCE from North East Wales Institute of Higher Education and also delivered work outside to companies who had requirements for specialised training for their staff.

Outside of working life Paul is a swimming official for Wales, he enjoys reading, gardening, and car maintenance and is a season ticket holder at Liverpool FC!

Certificate in Education (Post Compulsory Education and Training)

Paul completed a Certificate in Training and Development at Wolverhampton Business School.  He is an Associate of the Institute of Personnel and Development.

Certificate of Training in Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1970.

Certificate of Training in Instructional Techniques.

Paul holds D32/D33 and D34 in TDLB which is now the A awards

Teaching Training course C & Guilds 7307 Stages 1 & 2.
