After too many years looking out of school windows at the passing RAE Bedford aircraft, Nick completed his MEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering at Loughborough University in 2000.

This, and passing the Cranfield Test Flight Course developed his interest in aviation and flight simulation - leading to experience testing at Cranfield, Virginia Tech and NAS Patuxent River, before joining Glynd┼Ár University.

As well as aviation both modern and historic, he is interested in Motorsport and used to compete in his self-prepared MGB-GT in Speed Hillclimbing & Sprints. He also owns and breeds Miniature Schnauzers, and in his spare time he practises photograph, and plays the guitar badly.

Inspirational quotes? - “If anybody ever tells you anything about an aeroplane which is so bloody complicated you can't understand it, take it from me: it's all b*lls ” — R. J. Mitchell

What’s your favourite film? - Blade Runner, closely followed by Monty Python and the Holy Grail
