Libby has been a Glyndwr University student, having completed her BSc Psychology degree here. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree in psychology, Libby went on to complete her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton and is a qualified practitioner psychologist.

Libby has had additional training in various areas, such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, therapeutic parenting, and autism assessment. Academically, as well as working at Glyndwr University, Libby has also taught postgraduate students at Keele University. Libby has experience of supporting people in the NHS, private companies, charities, and local authority. Libby currently works part of her week as a psychologist supporting children and young people for both a private company and in private practice, alongside her role at Glyndwr University.
