I came to Glyndwr in 2012 having worked in mental health settings for the 10 years previous. Since being here, I have been able to combine both my mental health practice experiences and my interests in language and interpreting. I currently lead the BSc Mental Health and Wellbeing, which has broadened my research interests to include widening participation and the impact of culture and second language on a student’s higher education experience. Outside of University, I am a sometime baker and allotmentor, willing if not able!
