Having worked as a teaching assistant/classroom assistant and LSA in different schools for several years, I came to Wrexham Glyndwr University and completed my degree in families and Childhood Studies.  After graduating, I completed my PGCE for post-compulsory teaching, again at Wrexham Glyndwr University.  I then joined the Education Department, teaching on a range of programmes, one of which was the PGCE/PCET.  Now, I am the Programme Leader for this course and, as a team, we look after the full-time and part-time groups for the PGCE/PCET and Certificate in Education.   I also continue to teach on a range of programmes throughout the education portfolio of programmes.
