Jess was awarded a 2:1 BA (Hons) Degree in Combined Honours – French and Philosophy from the University of Liverpool, she then went on to gain her MA in Youth and Community Work here at Glyndŵr University.
Her work as an Informal Educator began 10 years ago and she has spent the last 7 years working in the voluntary sector as a youth worker and charity operational manager. Jess has primarily focussed on developing quality youth work provision, informal education and services for vulnerable young people across the North West. Prior to this she worked as a retail manager in Human Resources.
What are your hobbies? I have 3 dogs – 2 German Shepherd x husky and an Alaskan Malamute. In between family, work and pet responsibilities I enjoy gardening; exercising (HIIT anyone?) and reading.
What is your favourite book? My favourite book of all time is To Kill a Mockingbird
