I joined the Wrexham Glyndwr team in May 2013. Prior to this I worked as a Family Court Advisor with Public and Private law proceedings in the Family Courts. I have over 15 years’ experience of working within the Private, Public and voluntary sector. I graduated from Cambridge University with BA(cantab), MA , University of Central Lancashire with BSc(hons) and NEWI with my Dip Social Work.
My main Social Work role has been primarily within mental health, safeguarding and Child protection work. I have also founded several community based projects, and have extensive experience of inter-agency working. I am also a first language Welsh speaker, who was born and brought up in North Wales.

I am currently undertaking my PhD, looking at the conceptual frames within Child Protection assessments.
I also have a research and practice interest in the philosophical underpinnings of Social Work, analysis tools, and in the development of integrational practice.
