Prior to joining Glyndwr University, I worked within the business/commercial world, focused on commercial funding, now bringing my background within the commercial world to my interests in counselling and mental health within businesses.

Having qualified through the Diploma programme at Glyndwr I was invited back to join the team, initially as a sessional lecturer and now working across the Diploma and Introductory courses.

I continue to work in private practice as a counsellor, working exclusively with adult clients.

Research Interests include:

  • Perception of and Barriers to Counselling and Mental Health in the Business Community.
  • Person-Centred approaches to teaching
  • Pluralistic Approaches to Counselling
