I am passionate about research as it not only broadens your knowledge but also enables you to extend your experience clinically.

What do you do in your spare time? First and foremost I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and three wonderful children. We enjoy mountain biking, jet-skiing and hiking together.

What are your hobbies? I'm a keen runner having recently completed the Snowdonia marathon. I also enjoy team challenges and long distance hiking.

If you could change career what would you do? I trained as an occupational therapist after completing my A-levels and would have chosen no other career. “Making a difference” has always been my motto and driven me to enhance my skills as a practitioner.
