Are you interested in drawing and want to learn how to draw a photorealistic pencil portrait?
This short course will be delivered online through a weekly 1-hour session with a tutor on Microsoft Teams and will be accompanied by an instructional video for you to revisit and improve your technique each week.
One week will be spent on each aspect of the face (eyes, nose, mouth, hair and ears) and attendees will compile their skills to create a final photo-realistic portrait.
Participants will be sent a starter pack of basic equipment consisting of pencils, Bristol board and a Tombow eraser included in the cost of the course.
What will you study?
Each of the four weeks of the course will be dedicated to a particular aspect of the face and will cover:
- Hair and ears
Four weeks, with live sessions every Thursday from 5pm until 6pm
Starting 9th September 2021 and finishing on 30th September 2021
Attendees will log their drawing development and progress across the weeks to show what they have learnt and will present a final photographic portrait image in the form of a drawing, photographed and submitted as a jpg. image or pdf.
