
Photography and Lighting
This is a short course offering an affordable and enjoyable introduction to photography and lighting. Through active sessions in the studio, you will develop new and existing skills in lighting and capturing a variety of subjects.
What will you study?
On this course, you will be introduced to the terms used in photography and will gain the knowledge of how to set up and use your camera.
You will need to have a camera (Compact, Bridge, or DSLR camera) that can be used in manual mode. There will be cameras in the studio that you can also use. An SD card with your camera to store the images. Pen and notebook to take notes and to record your progress.

The portfolio of work accumulated during the short course can be presented for assessment providing 10 HE credits.

This fee covers attendance and tutorage, including assessment and basic materials. Additional cost may be incurred if participants choose to work with non-standard materials or at high volume or large format.
