Introduction to Co-Production
Co-production is an asset-based approach to public services that enables people providing and people receiving services to share power and responsibility, and to work together in equal, reciprocal and caring relationships.
Interest in co-production across sectors is growing rapidly, supported in Wales by the emphasis on co-production and involvement in the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014, and Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 respectively.
This online short course offers a detailed introduction to the key principles and general application of co-production in the commissioning, design, delivery and evaluation of services. It is suitable for those completely new to co-production, as well as those looking to reflect on and develop their current practice.
The course will be delivered in partnership with the Co-production Network for Wales.
