Easter Football College

To celebrate our degree course, ‘Football Coaching and the Performance Specialist’ Wrexham Glyndwr University would like to invite everyone aged 16+ and living in Wales to participate in a FREE 3 day Easter Football College!

We recognise the importance of sport in life – staying active, creating social bonds, and helping you to develop your potential. If you love football and want to help others develop their interests, skills and talent in any sport then this is a great opportunity for you! Each morning the course will introduce you to a range of skills for coaching, working at a variety of levels, including community & performance. 

What you will study

This course will:

  • Develop your coaching and planning skills
  • Introduce you to coaching and football science
  • Enhance the importance of creating strong relationships within a sport environment
  • Promote the benefits of community sport development

The course will also include other workshops including Mental Health in Football and Techniquest ‘Bodyworks’ to identify learners strengths in regards to future career options in the sporting field.

26th, 27th & 28th March, 9:30am-2:30pm 


Wrexham Glyndwr University Sports Hall

The Wednesday morning session will take place at Colliers Park training ground, which has previously hosted the Welsh National Football Team and FC Barcelona. (Transport to & from Colliers Park is provided for free)

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for this course, however you must be aged 16+ and living within Wales.
