What happens after you apply?
When you have completed your online application and uploaded all relevant documentation, your application will be reviewed by the Head of the relevant University Research Centre.
If there is interest in your proposed research project and the University has the resources for your area of study, you will be invited to attend an interview. If you have any accessibility requirements or other relevant needs required for the interview, please let us know.
If admission is recommended following the interview, and subject to verification of academic references, there will be an approval process required by Wrexham Glyndŵr University’s Research Degrees Sub-Committee (URDSubC) and the University of Chester. Please note that referees should not be proposed as members of your Supervisory Team and references should be dated, and no more than 12 months old.
The application process can take some time and can vary. You should begin the process in ample time, at least 3 months before your intended start date.
