Fees and start dates

There are two intake points each year - September and February, when you can enrol and register on a research degree programme following satisfactory completion of the admissions procedure and acceptance onto the programme. We aim to provide an initial response to your application within 2 weeks of receiving it.

The next intakes are February 2018 and September 2018 (Sept 2018 to be confirmed). There are no intakes between these months.

If you enrol in February, the fee will be calculated on a pro rata basis and you only pay a portion of the full tuition fee for that academic year. The academic year runs from 1st August to 31st July. For example, if you enrol in February the fee will be calculated from January to July (6 months of study) and then the full tuition fee will be applicable in the following academic year of 2018/19, from August 2018 to July 2019.
