Open day FAQs
The open days run from 10am -2pm. Registration closes at 1pm to allow time to tour the campus.
Campus tours run throughout the day and there will be a variety of talks taking place.
It's always advantageous to book in advance so we know to expect you, but you don't have to, it's fine to turn up on the day and register. Register here for our next open day.

You can bring as many friends and family as you wish. Children are also welcome and you will have free access to Techniquest for your party on the day.
Look out for your complimentary ticket when you register at the sports hall on arrival.
Disability access is available across the campus, please let us know if you need any help before or on arrival. Blue badge spaces are also available across the campus.

We have a large parking area and it’s FREE on the day, please follow the signs on arrival.
Head to the Sports Centre where you will find the main check-in desk and pick up your welcome pack.
Yes you can attend as many as you like. It's good to arm yourself with as much information as possible!

Yes, our Residential and Campus Life team will be on hand during the day and will be offering a talk about your accommodation options as well as taking guests on a tour of the accommodation that we have available on campus.
Tours start from the John Troth lecture theatre B at 11am, 12pm and 1pm.
Yes we have a dedicated student support team available to answer all your questions on fees and funding - you will find them in the Sports Hall during the open day offering 1-2-1 advice and guidance.
Our disability advisor will be on hand for you and your family to discuss any issues relating to learning support or disability, informally and in confidence. She will be based in the Sports Hall.
Our catering outlets will be open where you can grab a coffee or a bite to eat.
If you prefer you can take a walk into the town centre you will find a variety of places to eat and drink.
For students who are interested in our land-based courses, you may wish to visit our Northop campus. The Northop campus will be open from 10am - 2pm and staff will be available to show you around the facilities.
If you need overnight accommodation in the area then Wrexham has a number of places to stay - some within a few minutes walk of Wrexham Glyndŵr University.
Our open days are primarily aimed at Undergraduates however you are more than welcome to attend to view the campus and get a taste of university life here at Wrexham Glyndwr. We do have specific open evenings for those who are interested in Postgraduate or Professional level study - find out more information and book here.
