Postgraduate Master’s Bursary

With £3,400 off our MA and MSc courses, there's never been a better time to further your career with postgraduate study at Wrexham Glyndŵr University. With help from the Welsh Government we're offering limited-time fee discounts on MA and MSc courses starting this September 2018 in the form of support bursaries.

Subject to terms and conditions, the bursaries are offered on a first-come first-served basis and the deadline for applications is August 31, 2018.

The postgraduate support package bursaries are available for students living in Wales and the EU. If you’re a Wrexham Glyndŵr University alumnus, you could also be eligible for our Postgraduate Scholarship that can be used with the fee discount to reduce your tuition fees even more.

Where do you live?

Eligibility criteria

  • You must have been ordinarily resident in Wales or an EU country outside the UK for the last three years
  • You must be under the age of 60 at the time the course begins
  • You must not already hold an equivalent postgraduate qualification
  • You must apply and accept your place on a September 2018 MA or MSc course before August 31, 2018
  • Courses can be full-time or part-time but must commence in September 2018 and be completed in full, without suspension or withdrawal.

 

Bursary recipients may apply for any other non-government funded postgraduate awards (as long as you meet all eligibility criteria), including Wrexham Glyndwr University Alumni Postgraduate Scholarships.

Funding

Each bursary is worth £3,400 and does not need to be paid back.*

How to Apply

Applicants who meet the bursary criteria and have accepted the offer of a place on a postgraduate programme or study will automatically have the bursary applied following enrolment. If you have any questions about the process, please see the contact details below.

As the bursaries are being awarded on a 'first come, first served' basis, we recommend that you apply for your chosen course as soon as possible.

The application deadline is August 31, 2018.
