Our policies

AGE RESTRICTIONS

 

Gigs / Concerts
Unless stated on the individual show’s information, all of our concerts are open to all ages. Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times. Some of our shows have strict age limits so please check the information for the show you are attending before purchasing your ticket, and to bring valid identification on the night of the event.

BUYING TICKETS

 

At Box Office
We operate a walk in box office in the Catrin Finch Centre. You can drop in to buy tickets for any show at this venue (unless stated otherwise). We accept cash, cards and cheques. There are no bookings fees for cash and cheque payments.

Ticket Collections
You will be able to collect tickets for a show from 6.30pm on the night of the show, and throughout the Box Office opening hours prior to the show (9:00am - 16:30pm Monday – Thursday, Friday 9:00am – 16:00pm)

Our official ticket agent is Ticketline, you can call to book tickets on 0844 888 99 91 or book via their website.

NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICY

 

We ask all customers to be respectful of the local area, including our neighbours by leaving the William Aston Hall venue in a quiet, peaceful and orderly manner. Please help us to keep the area clean and tidy by discarding all rubbish in the bins provided.

SMOKING

 

Smoking is not permitted inside any of our venues. Our no-smoking policy includes the use of e-cigarettes. There are large smoking areas immediately outside our venue which you can make use of if you wish to smoke.

SALE OF ALCOHOL

 

Please note we run a Challenge 21 policy, so if you appear to be under the age of 21 please do not take offence if we ask you for ID. Please bring some appropriate ID with you if you are lucky enough to have maintained your youthful looks. This policy is not intended to cause you embarrassment or offence, it’s simply important for us to ensure we are serving alcohol responsibly in line with the licensing act.

MERCHANDISE

 

Official artist’s merchandise is ONLY sold inside the WAH’s foyer area. We implore you to buy from these official sources as we cannot vouch for the quality of any items purchased from sellers may have outside the venue.

CLOAKROOMS

 

For certain shows our venue offers cloakroom facilities you can leave your possessions/valuables in for safe keeping.

RESPONSIBILITY

 

Not to sound like your parents, but please familiarise yourself with some of these top tips about looking after yourself, your friends, and your possessions.

Keep your handset secure
Most people use their mobile phones to capture photos and videos at concerts/events, but please ensure you keep yours securely on your person throughout the show.

Register your phone and personal property
Valuable items can be registered for FREE at www.immobilise.com to help the Police identify the owner of any items that may be lost or stolen.

If you feel unwell
Please speak to a member of venue staff or security if you feel unwell.

Meet your friends/family
Obvious but important, always arrange times and locations to meet your friends and/or family.
