Summer School

Summer school programmes will be delivered online for 2020.

Our Summer Schools are the perfect way to experience a mixture of academic lectures, engaging study sessions, and university life here at Wrexham Glynd┼Ár.

Our Summer Schools take place from Monday 29th June to Friday 24th July and Monday 3rd August to Friday 28th August. We offer a range of undergraduate-level programmes with a fresh approach to traditional academic subjects. You’ll experience a mixture of academic lectures, and engaging study opportunities.

Courses

You may choose to study at one of our Summer Schools purely for the interest value. However, all of our courses offer university credits and some offer top-up pathways leading to full undergraduate qualifications. Check out the links below for more information regarding specific courses:

Fees

All of our courses cost £690 which includes Technical tuition and English language tuition.

A £50 non-refundable deposit** will secure your place, leaving a balance of £640 payable before the start of the programme. All payments will use our secure online card payment system.

On receipt of your deposit, you will shortly receive an email confirmation with further information. The email should arrive within three weeks of your deposit payment date but in busy periods, this may take a little longer.

**The demand for these programmes is normally high but in the event, a programme has insufficient students registered, it will not be offered. In such an event, any registered students will be offered an alternative programme or given a full refund of any fees paid.

Entry Requirements

Our courses are open to UK and non-UK students over the age of 18, whatever your background or country of residence.

The Summer Schools typically don’t require any previous knowledge and therefore provide an ideal chance to discover a completely new subject or personal interest. However, students on the Summer School should be at B2 level (or equivalent) in English language.

We are excited to offer our Summer Schools with a greater variety of programme options this year. We also run an English Language school, details can be found here.

We hope the information above answers any questions you have but you can call +44 1978 293439 or email enquiries@glyndwr.ac.uk if you want to know more.
