Entry requirements

If you’re currently studying the Diploma de Bacalaureat then we would look for a minimum score of 6.5 out of 10 overall for entry onto the 1st year of one of our undergraduate degree programmes. In addition to this overall score we look for scores of 7/10 or above in any required specific subjects, depending on the course you’re applying for.

If you have the Diplomă de Absolvire (shortcycle) you could be eligible for second or third year entry to an undergraduate degree.

For taught Postgraduate courses, we consider applicants with the Diplomă de Licenţă or the Diplomă de Inginer.

For all levels of study, we’d also look for evidence of your English language ability. If you’ve taken an IELTS test, we’d look for:

  • Undergraduate – 6.0 overall, with no band below 6.0. Individual bands score of 0.5 below this required total may be considered.
  • Postgraduate – 6.5 overall with no band below 6.5. Individual band scores of 0.5 below this required total may be considered.

If you’ve taken another approved English language test, please contact us. Alternatively, we’d accept a grade of 7 or above in the English language component of the diploma for undergraduate entry.
