While the way in which we will deliver some of the services and facilities we provide for our students may have changed in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the University remains fully committed to delivering an excellent range of student support, student services and facilities to enhance your academic study. Our site at St Asaph is a cutting-edge research centre for the opto-electronics technology industry.

Based on St Asaph Business Park, on the North Wales coast - just over 30 miles and a 50 minute drive from Wrexham, we bring together the university and industry worlds.

As well as well-equipped conference facilities, a restaurant, and meeting rooms with wireless broadband connectivity, there is a focus on science laboratories and research facilities, as you would expect. Its modern facilities for conferences, exhibitions, seminars, training and meetings are available for hire by outside organisations.

Our scientists are known for their technology and scientific innovation and offer bespoke engineering design and consultancy services. Our pioneering project producing prototype mirrors for the world’s largest telescope is based here.
