Since humans are social beings, partnerships between individuals, businesses, interest-based organizations, schools, governments, and varied combinations thereof, have always been and remain commonplace. Here at Glyndwr University, we place a high value on our extensive network of partnerships and collaborations.

We work with other universities, local colleges, businesses and Sector Skills Councils to develop solutions, create beneficial projects and new and innovative programmes to suit employer needs.

    Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs)

This is a UK-wide programme enabling businesses to improve their competitiveness, productivity and performance.

A KTP achieves this through the forming of a partnership between businesses and an academic institution such as Glyndŵr University. This partnership then employs a high calibre graduate known as an Associate.

The Associate is employed to undertake a strategic project to benefit the business, using the skills and knowledge base available at Glyndŵr University.

KTPs completed so far have demonstrated clear and measurable benefits for the businesses undertaking them in terms of profitability, training and expansion.

KTPs enable new capability to be embedded into the business and have benefited and continue to benefit a wide range of businesses across many sectors, including micro sized, small and large companies, as well as public and third sector organisations.
