North Wales Business Academy
Want to grow your business?
The North Wales Business Academy (NWBA) is a new innovative, ESF-funded project. It provides an opportunity for businesses throughout North Wales to have access to the collective talents, skills and expertise of Wrexham Glyndwr University, Coleg Cambria, Grwp Llandrillo Menai and Bangor University.
Recognising that ‘one size doesn’t fit all’ and that different organisations have different needs, the programme is tailored so that it directly addresses the individual requirements of the business.
The North Wales Business Academy programme offers seven bespoke business themes:
- Financial Management
- Business Strategy
- Sales and Marketing
- Developing People
- Governance and Ethics
- Managing Operations
- Business Communication
There are a further 24 specialist modules within these seven business themes, allowing for complete flexibility and ensuring that the programme meets the individual and specific requirements of your business.
Experienced business mentors will work in partnership with you to develop a strategic programme of learning modules, designed to achieve your specific organisational goals. The mentor then works with the business to ensure that the skills and knowledge gained from the programme, become embedded in the workplace.

The cost of the academy is £150 – £250 per participant, depending on the size of the business. The programme is part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) through the Welsh Government.
