The North Wales Business School believe in giving their students extra and all their lecturers and support staff have an open door policy enabling them to be on hand to assist students should they have any concerns. Class sizes are kept small meaning lecturers can really get to know their students and are able to offer advice and support.
Students are encouraged to maximise their time at university and to take up opportunities to undertake work experience placements and enter national and international business competitions. Recent successes have been in entrepreneurship competitions where students have won places on the European Innovation Academy programme and the opportunity to take part in a Chinese summer school.
The Plas Coch Campus hosts a range of IT Suites with creative, presentation and business software enabling students to access the tools needed to produce and create their work.
Business meets science for the consumer psychology course and students gain first-hand experience of using the latest equipment used in both psychological and market research including: eye tracking, Galvanic Skin Sensors and facial tracking.
