Glyndŵr University and Yale College are to hold an annual event to highlight the range of opportunities available in higher education.
The 2012 North East Wales Higher Education Convention will be held at the university from 10am until 2.30pm on Tuesday, 27 March.
More than 65 universities and higher education institutions are set to be represented at the UCAS event, and would-be students will have the opportunity to discuss their options and explore funding opportunities.
Presentations will be held on the day to look at UCAS personal statements and student finance issues.
Julie Cowley, student recruitment and widening access manager at Glyndŵr University, said: “The North East Wales Higher Education Convention is always a fantastic event, and from the feedback we receive we know potential students find it invaluable.
“The event reflects our commitment to ensuring people in North East Wales are well served by higher education, and that they fully appreciate the opportunities they have to fulfil their potential through study.”
The event will be held in the sports centre at Glyndŵr University’s Plas Coch, Wrexham campus.
Places can be booked via the UCAS Events site.
