Aspiring mental health nurses have a rare opportunity to gain a place for 2011 start at Glyndŵr University.
The three-year full-time BN (Hons) Nursing (pre-registration) – Mental Health Nursing course offers first-rate teaching and excellent placements which prepare students for successful careers in nursing.
An extremely limited number of places remain on the course, which starts in mid-September.
Students on the course benefit from free tuition fees and a tax-free bursary of £6,701 per annum as well as reimbursement of travel expenses to placement locations.
Glyndŵr University nursing graduates have an excellent employability record on finishing their courses.
The Mental Health Nursing course gives students hands-on experience across the whole field, and teaches relevant social policy, law and ethics as well as clinical skills.
Gary Stevenson, principal lecturer in nursing at Glyndŵr University said: “It is very unusual for places such as this to become available.
“The content of the course and the bursary available make this a fantastic opportunity for potential students.”
