Glyndŵr University has opened a London campus, the Glyndwr London School of Management and Science (LSMS).
LSMS, based at Elephant and Castle in South London, has been a validated partner of Glyndŵr University for more than 18 months.
It has more than 1,000 students from over 50 nationalities, and offers Glyndŵr University courses including the MBA, BA (Hons) Business Management and BSc (Hons) Health Studies.
Colyn Gardner, Glyndŵr University’s Executive Director of Corporate Development said: “After working together successfully for a considerable period of time it has been decided that the opening of a wholly university-owned campus at LSMS by Glyndŵr University will be a positive step."
“It will provide the university with a London campus for the delivery of its undergraduate business and MBA programmes.
“Having done substantial legal and accounting due diligence and having worked successfully in partnership for a period of time we are very confident that LSMS will be a valuable addition to Glyndŵr University’s portfolio of activities.”
Glyndŵr University Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Professor Michael Scott said: “This is an exciting development for the university which will enable us to continue to extend our activities in London.”
The campus will now be known as Glyndŵr London School of Management and Science.
