Glyndŵr University commissioned to provide occupational therapy

Glyndŵr University has been commissioned to become the higher education provider of occupational therapy courses in North Wales from September.
The university will continue to deliver the subject through a three year BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy programme following the completion of a commissioning process.
Applications for the course are now being accepted by direct application only.
Helen Carey, professional lead for occupational therapy at Glyndŵr University, said: “We are pleased to be able to confirm arrangements for students wishing to study occupational therapy with us from September.
“The three year route aims to accommodate a wide variety of applicants with different entry qualifications and we have designed the curriculum to take account of the different learning needs of applicants who are driven to qualify as occupational therapists"
The closing date for applications is 25 March 2013. If shortlisted, interviews will be held on Monday 29 April and Tuesday 30 April 2013. The university aims to make offers to successful candidates by 10 May 2013.
