Campus 2025 is Wrexham Glyndwr University’s strategy to significantly improve all areas of our campuses - our ambition is to be the learning gateway into Wrexham and to contribute more to our local community.
Students are at the centre of our strategy and we will enhance the student experience by providing an infrastructure that supports learning, with stimulating state-of-the-art facilities and the latest in building designs and technology to provide a sustainable and attractive future-proof campus.

Part of the Campus 2025 strategy is a package of planning applications - the success of which are critical to the future of the university, which will enable us to upgrade our academic and accommodation facilities so that we can sustain a viable offering and student numbers across the range of academic courses which it provides. The package also involves the sale of redundant landholdings, which can make a positive contribution to meeting Wrexham’s housing need.
To accord with the Planning (Wales) Act 2015, we are now undertaking statutory pre-application consultation on the various planning applications within Campus 2025. To view the draft planning applications, please complete the form on this page (available from Monday, June 18) and a link to the documents will be forwarded by reply.
