Two Manchester Exhibitions for Susan Liggett
Glyndŵr University Senior Lecturer in Fine Art Susan Liggett is exhibiting her paintings at two venues in Manchester over the next few weeks.

Susan is a member of Suite Studio Group that comprises of professional artists that have a broad range of practices. Members meet on a regular basis for critical debates with invited key curators, artists and critics from across the UK. They are opening the doors to their studios on Fri 26th Sept to encourage the public to see their work in progress.
Congou Projects have selected one of Susan’s paintings for an exhibition titled Resilience. The exhibition is curated byHannah Brown & Ilona Kiss and is at Card Room, Chapeltown Street, Manchester, OL5 OHS. 20th & 21st Sep, 12pm - 5pm or by appointment until 11th Oct.
Mildred ‘Elsi’ Eldridge Exhibition

Gwynedd Museum & Art Gallery, Bangor
Born in Wimbledon in 1909, Elsi Eldridge spent the early part of her life living in London and France before turning her back on city life and moving to Wales – where she met poet, R.S. Thomas. A star student at the Wimbledon College of Art, and later the Royal College of Art, she studied under William Rothenstein, Eric Ravilious and Edward Bawden.
With works loaned from public and private collections, this exhibition focuses on the breadth and quality of Elsi’s artistic work.
The University has provided assistance with this exhibition supplying images and a link to the virtual tour of the Dance of Life mural which is on display here in the Centre for Creative Industries.

Demolition Tape No.8 is the latest episode in Paul Carr’s The Fifth Runway UK Radio Tour and will be performed LIVE at midday, Saturday 16th August in collaboration with Jenna Collins, as part of The Independent Voice – Performance and Publishing, Modern Art Oxford. Featuring the voice of Chris Scobie and other guests.
