Moving Minds Public Lecture

Wednesday 2 March 2016, 10am

William Aston Hall, Wrexham Glyndŵr University

Where is your mind, what is it made of, and why do these questions matter?

In this free lecture, Mike Corcoran, curator of Moving Minds, the new exhibition at the Oriel Sycharth Gallery, discusses your mind, its place in the world, and the limitless boundaries of what you can achieve.

Exploring the themes presented by the exhibition, Mike will argue that our minds far outstrip the boundaries of brain and body, and reach out into the world.

Touching upon ideas from philosophy, computer science and neuroscience, this event will explore how this way of looking at the mind has a very real impact for each and every one of us.

Free event.
