Advanced Materials (AMRL)
The Advanced Materials Research laboratory (AMRL) has developed
considerable expertise in the deposition of thin film materials for
applications in optoelectronics, microelectronics and surface
engineering. The group also has a wide range of expertise in
characterisation of thin film structures using advanced microscopy
methods covering TEM, SEM and SPM -which is available as a consultancy
service for industry. Thin film materials include compound
semiconductors and carbon nanotubes.
