Follow the links below to subscribe to our RSS News Feeds.
What are RSS News Feeds?
News Feeds allow you to read news stories provided by a Web site without having to continually re-visit the site, instead news stories can be accessed directly from your Web browser (such as Internet Explorer 7) or by using an RSS News Reader application installed on your PC.
You can subscribe to our Glyndŵr University News feed (showing latest public events and information about Glyndŵr University), or subscribe to individual feeds such as Careers and Enterprise News and Sports Facilities News - see below for other feeds.
How to use News Feeds in Internet Explorer 7
If you are using Internet Explorer 7, you can open any of the feeds below simply by clicking on the individual feed, then follow the instructions shown on-screen (click 'Subscribe to this feed').
Once you have subscribed to a feed, you can access your feeds by clicking on the yellow star icon (favourites) on the left of the toolbar
(alternatively, go to View > Explorer Bar > Feeds, then click on the name of the feed you wish to view).
To check if you have Internet Explorer version 7, click on Help > About Internet Explorer. You can download Internet Explorer 7 from the Microsoft Web site.
Other ways to use News Feeds
If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer or another Web browser, you may be unable to view News Feeds directly in your browser, see the following link for advice on using feeds in Opera. Alternatively, you can use an RSS News Reader application which must be installed on your computer, we recommend Feedreader for Windows or RSSOwl for all operating systems.
