Caroline is a Senior Lecturer in Community Justice and Programme Leader for the MA in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She was a practitioner in the criminal justice system for 12 years as a Probation Officer and more recently as a Youth Justice worker before joining us in 2003. She is also a qualified Practice Teacher and member of the Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. Her research interests include Children's Rights, Social Inclusion, Bilingualism and Young People. She has recently completed her Masters degree in Community Justice and presented a paper at the University of Oxford, Howard League Conference for Penal Reform on the needs of Welsh speaking young people held in Young Offender institutions. |
