Meet the student

Christian Webster

Christian Webster from Welshpool, third year BA (Hons) Education and childhood studies

How are you finding the course so far?

It’s great as long as you keep on top of the workload. The staff are excellent and are always offering help and support for uni work and things outside of the uni.

How does the course prepare you for the world of work?

It's increased social skills and the opportunity of a placement really helps you get a feel of life after uni.

What are your future plans once you have graduated?

After this course I am doing a PGCE and have been accepted in to Bangor University to do primary teacher training.

Teacher training

Following the successful completion of your degree (normally with a higher classification) there are opportunities, through an additional year of study, to progress to teaching.

This could be:

further education (PCET) at Glyndŵr University

providing you have GCSE grade C or above in English, Mathematics and double Science on application.
