Why choose this course?

This exciting course will explore the latest scientific developments from the field of psychology, innovative progress which has turned the traditional marketing arena on its head.

Students on this degree will be taught a diverse range of topics including neuro-marketing, decision-making and advertising, as well as gaining practical experience using the latest research equipment, such as eye-tracking glasses, Galvanic Skin Response sensors and face tracking cameras.

However, it is not just a case of learning how to use this equipment in the laboratory, as in their final year all students will be able to undertake a project working with a business, where they will apply the techniques that they have learnt over the duration of the course to solve a genuine industry problem.

North Wales Business School has excellent links with a range of commercial research organisations that have worked with some of the largest brands in the world, including Tesco, Unilever, and Nestlé. As part of the course, students will be given the opportunity to hear guest lectures delivered by a range of practitioners, allowing them the opportunity to develop their network of contacts.
