BA (Hons) Fine Art, third year

My dream was always to achieve a fine art degree.

When I left school I started a fine art course and through family and farm commitments I couldn’t complete it.  I had a family so I went in to full-time employment.

When I started working part-time I saw there would be an opportunity to get back to studying.

I did a bit of research and found that Glyndŵr University was respected. When I first came here my work was quite descriptive, but since joining the art school I had the potential for my work to take on a more abstract appearance with the help of my tutors.

The tutors have been extremely helpful and the change in my work is unbelievable and wouldn’t have happened had I not come here.  I am really pleased with the tutors and studio spaces. Everyone helps you and you are encouraged to collaborate with others.
