Meet the student

Richard Di Blasi from Liverpool is in his final year of studying a Graphic Design honours degree at Glyndŵr University.

He said: “I choose Glyndŵr because of the friendly atmosphere. When I visited other universities they couldn’t offer the close access to tutors that is available. It is really helpful to benefit from expert feedback on your work and the tutors’ experience of the industry.

“I’m really enjoying my course and the refurbished North Wales School of Art and Design is excellent; it’s great to be able to mix with other students studying a range of art areas. I could have stayed in Liverpool and travelled in but I decided to move in to student accommodation in Wrexham so that I could enjoy student life to the full. Wrexham is obviously at lot smaller than Liverpool but it’s good and has got everything you need.”
